She was clerking for Justice Sandra Day O’Connor when she realized that she really wanted to be a writer. Raised in Kansas City, she lives in New York City with her husband, two daughters, and dog.
She’s left-handed, red-haired, extremely nearsighted, can’t meditate, spouts aphorisms, sticks to a very low-carb diet, dislikes games, lives around the corner from her in-laws, and visits the Metropolitan Museum every day. She’s a big fan of children’s literature, organ donation, coffee, and high-intensity weight-training. She has no hobbies other than reading, writing, and running experiments on herself.
